PT Office Administrator - HR/Finance/Contracts

Position: Office Administrator with a focus on HR, Finance and Contract Administration 

DescriptionEstablished government contracting company seeking to fill an office administrator role for our growing team.  Looking for a capable individual with a solid work ethic and willingness to learn.  Initially the position will be part time (expected 20 hours per week)  however depending on candidates desire and work performance; both full time status and position growth opportunities are options.
The position will support a variety of focus areas and allow this team member to participate in many facets of the company including (but not limited to):  HR, Contracts, Finance, Operations, Events, etc.  This position will primarily be in our Laurel, MD office location although some tasks may have remote work options.

Clearance Requirement: NONE, but Top Secret clearance highly desired

Required / Desired Skills & Experience
Required: U.S. Citizen (Mandatory / No Exceptions - We are a federal government contractor.)
Required: Candidates will be expected to be/have: Professional, Organized, Self-Starter / Problem-Solver, Solid Verbal and Written Skills, Orderly and Timely
Required: Candidates will be expected to have experience with the following: Email / Calendar (Google Mail, Outlook, etc.), Calendar / Schedule Planning, MS Office: PowerPoint, Excel spreadsheets, word processing, Google G-Suite Cloud Tools: Drive, Docs, Sheets, etc. and Ability to work in a mostly electronic filing system
Required: Reliable transportation (for occasional meetings, errands, tasks, etc.)
  • HIGHLY Desired: Experience with the following; General Accounting (Quickbooks), HR Administration, Government Contracts/Contracting, Timekeeping Systems
  • Desired: Marketing and Social Media, Technology skills / Development / Programming 
  • Desired: Existing Top Secret (TS) government clearance
