POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain system security plans (SSPs)
- Perform regular risk assessments and audits
- Monitor compliance with security policies and procedures
- Oversee system vulnerability management and remediation efforts
- Ensure adherence to security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, RMF)
- Collaborate with teams to address security incidents and findings
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Proficiency in security frameworks like NIST RMF or ISO 27001
- Strong understanding of access control and authentication mechanisms
- Ability to manage and analyze security tools (e.g., SIEM, vulnerability scanners)
- Knowledge of incident response and reporting processes
- Familiarity with secure configuration management
- Strong documentation and report-writing abilities
DESIRED SKILLS
- Knowledge of cloud security practices (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Familiarity with penetration testing results interpretation
- Experience in managing classified information systems
- Understanding of advanced threat detection techniques
- Knowledge of continuous monitoring tools and practices
- Expertise in implementing zero trust architecture principles
